WHO'S CUTER: Sibling Rivalry Edition
This week, I'm tripling the fun, and giving you not one, not two, but THREE pairs of celebrity brothers, for your amusement. Which in each of these three pairings is cuter?
THE WILSONS: Luke or Owen?
THE FIENNESES: Ralph or Joseph?
THE SAVAGES: Fred or Ben?
Vote once, vote well, discuss.

And the cuter brothers are...
(a week passes)
Luke, Ralph and Fred. None of the matches were close, really. But the only true winner in this round is Ralph Fiennes, who lots of people really REALLY love. The others all got less than enthusiastic endorsements. I don't really understand why Ralph is so much more loved than his brother (I love both Fienneses about equally), but there you go.
My relative lack of enthusiasm is probably due to my being too young to be into him at the time of Schindler's List and The English Patient (which won him most of his fans). He DID make a fabulous Voldemort, though. Mmm, villainy...

Definitely Ralph...sigh, what a beautiful, beautiful man.
As for the others, I don't really have that much of an opinion (for the record, I'd go with Joseph over all four of them). I'd probably have to vote for Fred and Luke, however, as they both have that nice aw-shucks factor (though Fred Savage directing Daddy Day Care 2 really knocks down points for him).
Fred Savage directed Daddy Day Care 2!? I didn't know that. What an unfortunate answer to the old "what are they up to now?"
I don't really understand why so many people prefer Ralph over Joseph. Joseph is totally sexy AND more conventionally attractive, I'd say. But maybe that's not your thing.
True, though, that either Fiennes brother easily outclasses all four of the others. Can't really argue with that one.
Luke, Ralph, Ben.
Ralph. Ralph. Ralph. Ralph. Ralph. Ralph. Ralph. Ralph!!!!!
Luke, Ralph, and Fred
Hmm. Well, I was hoping Ralph vs Joseph would at least be a LITTLE BIT competitive. I don't get the Ralph worship. Does anyone care to provide specifics?
I'm also surprised about Luke's dominance. I always thought silly golden-haired Owen was considered the cuter one.
Luke. Ralph. And Fred.

Adam, I think it boils down to facial symmetry. As you may know, beauty is often associated with symmetrical facial features. And I think that's why I would consider Luke the more attractive Wilson. Oh, and Owen's nose doesn’t help his chances.
Luke, Joseph, Fred. *sigh* I adore Joseph.
Owen - Luke seems like a bit of a wimpy loser, quite frankly. Owen seems more likely to get himself dirty and sweaty ;)
Ralph - Joseph hasn't grown into his face... or something. I dunno. I can't quite put my finger on it but something's not right about him. Ralph is just handsome and masculine in an effortless way.
Fred? I dunno. I didn't even know Fred Savage had a brother in the first place! What on earth has Ben Savage done? Who cares about Fred (and Ben, apparently) Savage anymore?
Ralph, for me, means The English Patient, where his character is the most romantic antihero in a love story not named Heathcliff. Plus, talent-wise, there's no comparison (no offense to Joseph, who is plenty talented, but he's no Ralph Fiennes). In my book, talent-wise, Ralph ranks with Meryl and Kate. And, even if it were just down to looks, Ralph has those sandy, windswept looks that I just adore.
^ He played Heathcliff in the 1992 version!
Glenn, Ben Savage starred in a coming-of-age TV show in America called "Boy Meets World". It came after "The Wonder Years" and was nowhere near as good (but still quite popular).
Who is Heathcliff? I feel dumb.
It is a shame that Ralph didn't win the oscar for Schindler's List OR The English Patient. And then he wasn't nominated for The Constant Gardener either. They must not like him very much.
Heathcliff is the main love interest in Wuthering Heights.
