Oh, and one more thing...
Just for the record...
Shame on you, Jodie Foster. Shame on you.
Check in to get your fix of film reviews, awards news, viewing marathons, hot men, and what's going on with me. While I'm not pursuing other more worthy goals, I'll be here... devouring life, art, and pop culture, one crumb at a time.

I am a currently an MFA student in University of Miami's film school, recently graduated from Brown. I'm an aspiring singer, actor, writer, and/or filmmaker... basically, I'll take what I can get. My first true love is performing, but the film critic in me just won't shut up, and I love writing and directing things, too. I think I wear too many hats (literally and figuratively). This blog is an outlet for my many wild passions, and a way to kill all my spare time. Also, I like to keep my sidebar REALLY full, so if you wanna see archives, just keep on scrolling down ; )

What did Jodie Foster do-out of curiosity?
Perhaps I'm being a bit harsh with her right now, but Jodie Foster...
A) ...is a lesbian who's never been forthright about her orientation even though everyone knows
B) ...went on record in one of those "who are you voting for" things as being in Crash's camp... "I loved Crash, I'm voting for Crash", etc.
Something about being publically closeted and then voting for an inferior film and against a gay-cinema landmark frontrunner just rubs me VERY much the wrong way. I used to love Jodie Foster... now I'm just like "eh". She only even works now as a last-minute stand in for someone who pulls out, and then makes like $20 million for her trouble. And she STILL can't just come clean... OR proclaim support for a gay film. Come on, Jodie. Be a role model, please.
But even all other stuff aside, just voting for Crash deserves a big "SHAME ON YOU" says me.
that is a bit odd, but I still love Jodie. I just wish she'd made better movies (i did love Panic Room though, but i need serious dramas!)
Man, still in shock here (the awards only ended 30 minutes ago here)
I don't know what makes me more angry, if Brokeback losing or Crash winning.
Yeah, that is a tough call.
i suspect the fury wouldn't have been much less if it had been something else... something more 'MOVIE-like. but Crash
