Oscar chart updates
There are now updates in the lead and supporting male acting charts, as well as the original and adapted screenplay charts. Mostly just category shifting... but the shifting really changes some things.
Enjoy.

I am a currently an MFA student in University of Miami's film school, recently graduated from Brown. I'm an aspiring singer, actor, writer, and/or filmmaker... basically, I'll take what I can get. My first true love is performing, but the film critic in me just won't shut up, and I love writing and directing things, too. I think I wear too many hats (literally and figuratively). This blog is an outlet for my many wild passions, and a way to kill all my spare time. Also, I like to keep my sidebar REALLY full, so if you wanna see archives, just keep on scrolling down ; )

I'm not so sure on Sheen.

Yeah, neither am I, that's why he's down at #17.
I dunno, Glenn brought him up, so I thought "hmm, maybe" and stuck him at #17. I don't actually expect it to happen.
Oh, unless you mean MICHAEL Sheen... in which case, I would agree that he is no sure thing. But he still looks as good as anyone at this point.
I still say Martin Sheen (older, respected, never nominated) has more of a shot than Wahlberg for the same film (young, not an actors actor) and over some of the other candidates.
Except that everybody loves Mark Wahlberg in it, and nobody is talking about Sheen.
Kind of a moot point, though, cause I don't expect either to make it. Jack tends to overshadow people.
