Random fact of the day night:
Safe was released on my 12th birthday.
I think that's kind of awesome.
Check in to get your fix of film reviews, awards news, viewing marathons, hot men, and what's going on with me. While I'm not pursuing other more worthy goals, I'll be here... devouring life, art, and pop culture, one crumb at a time.

I am a currently an MFA student in University of Miami's film school, recently graduated from Brown. I'm an aspiring singer, actor, writer, and/or filmmaker... basically, I'll take what I can get. My first true love is performing, but the film critic in me just won't shut up, and I love writing and directing things, too. I think I wear too many hats (literally and figuratively). This blog is an outlet for my many wild passions, and a way to kill all my spare time. Also, I like to keep my sidebar REALLY full, so if you wanna see archives, just keep on scrolling down ; )

Sounds like someone was reading the Times Magazine! I loved that article beyond all reason. Also, I thought you would appreciate that I awoke to the sounds of one of the songs from "Once" being played on the radio.
I do appreciate that you woke up to the sounds of Once.
But I didn't read any Times Magazine article. Was there some article on Safe? Was it the one about Todd Haynes' career and I'm Not There? I did actually read part of a big long article on him, but that's not where I found Safe's release date. That was actually Box Office Mojo.
Random, I know.
The cover article in the Sunday Times magazine is all about I'm Not There and Haynes. It's absolutely amazing.
Yeah I read part of that online, but it was really long, so eventually I got sick of reading it and stopped. Not because I was bored of it, but because I was sick of reading in general and had to get up and move around. I should go finish it.
I heart Todd Haynes.
