WHO'S HOTTER: Patrick Wilson or Paul Newman?

I once heard cutie Patrick Wilson described as "a young Paul Newman." So who's cuter/hotter, Patrick Wilson or a young Paul Newman? I think it's a tough one.

And the cuter/hotter is...

(a week passes)

...Paul Newman. It wasn't even close. AT ALL.

Poor Patrick. This was almost painful for me to watch. And also quite surprising, at least to me. But I guess if I'd seen Cool Hand Luke, Cat on a Hot Tin Rook, etc. I might feel differently. In any case, this one goes to Newman, unequivocally. And Wilson, bless his heart, will have to sit out the rest of the tourney.

I wish I were more excited about Newman. From the looks of things, he could conceivably go all the way. I guess I should see some of his movies? As of now, I only really know him from... his pasta sauce (which I actually enjoy a lot). Haha.

Patrick is hot, and all, and that picture of him = wowza, but NOBODY can compare to Paul Newman circa 1958-1964. NOBODY (he should have gone against Jake, but then there's the possibility he would have lost to Jake, which is utterly preposterous).

Paul Newman is, pretty much, the best looking man ever (give or take James Dean).

If you've seen Cat on a Hot Tin Roof then HELLO!

Yikes, I actually like Wilson better, but I think that's just cause I'm more familiar with him.

I'm gonna redo the Jake match... I think I have a better fit.

It's Newman. Totally Newman. He pretty much is the sexiest man who ever lived.

Patrick is very sexy in his own respect (ESPECIALLY THAT GLORIOUS ASS!!!!!!!!), but it's Paul Newman!

And great combo Adam. They really seem a lot alike physically.

Yeah, there's few sexier screen turns than Newman in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, except for perhaps Newman in Hud, Newman in Sweet Bird of Youth, Newman in...

Anyway, I'm voting for Paul.

Wow.

Newman: 6
Wilson: 0

I thought being current would give Wilson the edge here. How very, very wrong I was.

Well, being current gives Patrick the edge for me. (If only because he has more leeway to strut his goods. ;)

Newman: 6
Wilson: 1

Still quite the uphill battle. But thanks for throwing Patrick a bone ; )

I really really wanna throw Patrick another bone, but I just can't. My vote goes for Newman, but this is another one of the toughest ones you've ever had.

I have a agree, with the majority - Newman, maybe because he came first - but I wouldn't turn either down!

I had to look up Paul Newman's family. I saw Patrick Wilson and I thought "this can't be Paul Newman, this has to be a son of his." My god to realize that these two men are not related. They are both great actors. I enjoy watching them work.

I saw Patrick Wilson on James Cordon and felt like I was seeing Newman's doppelganger. Those eyes! Newman, of course wins. Cool Hand Luke. Be still my heart. But Wilson should be flaunting this resemblance. I even looked up Newman's kids to be sure. If Newman wasnt so devoted to his wife, this might be a what if?

I also thought Wilson had to be Paul Newman's son. Both gorgeous but always thought no other is sexier than Paul Newman.

In the times of Newman (whom I like very much) there wasn't that much handsome actors at an specific time comparing to now. Let's say there are so many good-looking actors in Hollywood right now which makes it even difficult, for instance, for Newman to compete in (if he was alive). Patrick, if it was 60 years ago, could be Newman of the time. No one knows. This is not a fair comparison. Plus Patrick is busy with other projects and doesn't appear much in movies. it sounds cruel to throw a pick between the two; one legend, the other one on the road to become a legend.
