WHO'S HOTTER: Jake Gyllenhaal or Warren Beatty?

That Elvis thing was stupid. What was I thinking? No one is into Elvis anymore, and he's not that attractive anyway. So, in keeping with the theme of current film stars being paired with classic film stars, here's a better match: Gyllenhaal vs. Beatty. Let's see how this one falls.
And the hotter is...

...both of them. It's a TIE!!! This one really came down to the wire (midnight was the cutoff), and in the end, it was dead even: 7-7. The biggest turn out ever for WHO'S CUTER, and the only tie... so far.
In my infinite wisdom, I've decided to just let both of them advance to the next round (cause this is now a TOURNAMENT! woo!!!). Starting in round 2, ties will be broken by me (sorry). But this time, I refuse to choose, 'cause clearly they both have their fans. Might they meet again later on? In the finals, perhaps? (rematch!) We'll see.

Well, I've never found Elvis good looking. So Jake.
Although I would've voted against Jake with no qualms if it were someone worthy. I'm not that fussed anymore about Jake quite frankly.
Put Jamie Bell or Adrien Brody or Eric Bana against Jake and I'll voe for them. As it is, I vote for Gyllenhaal.
Goddammit. The Elvis thing was partially a joke, but I figured his iconic status meant people loved him. At least USED TO love him. But even I don't find him that attractive, except in a few good photos. So maybe this was a terrible mistake. Apparently Jake-O is more vulnerable than I thought, but people just don't care for Elvis.
Can I pull a do-over?
It's not an easy one but I'm gonna go with Beatty. Gyllenhaal is maybe a little too puppy-dog-ish for me.

Glad people are finding this tough. But I'm still SHOCKED that Warren is winning. I find Jakey much hotter. I frankly don't understand the fuss over Warren Beatty, but I know there is a fuss, so I figured he'd be a good choice here. And he seems like he was rather Jake-like in his time, in terms of public adoration and supreme "young movie star" status. Both tall, brunette, goofy/hot and talented.

Hmm. This is a tough one.
I'm tempted to say Warren because he makes pantaloons sexy (!), but I think my vote is going to go to Jake.
Yup, Jake it is. But, as I said earlier, I wouldn't have been fussed voting against Jake. I'm kinda over him now in terms of "omg he's so hotttt!!!1" but he's obviously still majorly sexy.
Adam, isn't "fussed" used much in America? I remember saying something when I met Nat in NYC and he was all "I haven't heard that in years!" but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. I think I may have said "I'm feeling a bit peckish"? Perhaps...

Glenn, I've never heard an American use "fussed." Only you and my South African friend Nick use it. But then I've never heard ANYONE from ANY country say "I'm feeling a bit peckish". What does that even mean??? My immediate guess would be that peckish mean horny. But I'm thinking that's wrong.

Well, I admit I have not seen Splendor in the Grass or Bonnie and Clyde. Or Shampoo, except in snippets on TV. Or just about anything else he's ever been in. That probably explains my indifference.
But just from pictures, etc... I don't find him exceptionally hot. At least not as much as Jake.

Peckish = Hungry.
Beatty is indeed dreamy and swoon-worthy in Splendor in the Grass but I'm not a huge fan of Bonnie and Clyde.
I can see the fuss (there's that word again) about Beatty, but Gyllenhaal's more my type.
This should not even be a question. Gylenhaal (WHAT?) is not even in the same species as spectacularly gorgeous Beatty.
Warren wins, even at his current age. Gylenhaal is a footnote, if that. Beatty is the real thing.
